Silas Young Talks About ROH Doing Empty Arena Shows and Their Relationship With Sinclair

“The Last Real Man” Silas Young did an AMA on Reddit today. Among the questions asked during the event, Young explained Sinclair’s relationship with the company. Young stated, “I’ve been with ROH since 2013 and every year Sinclair has put more behind the company than the year before. Granted we are in a weird time but I think we are moving in the right direction. Granted the [Bucks] leaving seemed to affect us. Like any other time in wrestling that allows guys to grow and become bigger assets.”

Young also explained that his contract extends to the end of 2021, so we won’t be seeing him in WWE or AEW any time soon.

When asked if Ring of Honor had any plans to hold an empty arena show, he didn’t specifically confirm or deny any talks about doing it, but does mention that it’s not out of the question. He adds that they “have a dojo in the Baltimore area.” Ring of Honor is currently on hiatus during the coronavirus pandemic and doesn’t expect to open until June at the earliest. They made positive headlines last week when it was discovered that the company was going out of their way to ensure talents’ safety, including flying all international wrestlers back home as soon as they landed.

Currently, ROH isn’t airing any new footage. Their ROH TV shows are replays of previous events.
