A pair of WWE LFG competitors are making the move to Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, with one already appearing for the promotion.
This week’s episode of AAA on Fox featured a mystery wrestler emerging from the crowd and attacking Psycho Clown during his Triple Threat Match against El Fiscal and Cruz Del Toro.
While the wrestler was not identified during the broadcast, he has since been confirmed as WWE LFG competitor Drake Morreaux.
Morreaux has been a regular presence on LFG and has also competed on WWE EVOLVE and NXT Level Up. During his time on LFG, he trained under WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker.
Morreaux isn’t the only LFG talent headed to AAA, as Elijah Holyfield is also expected to make the move. Holyfield, the son of legendary boxer Evander Holyfield, similarly worked under The Undertaker during his time on the reality series.
Following a recent LFG match, WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels informed Holyfield that he would be getting an opportunity to compete in AAA and once again work under his former trainer.
There is currently no word on when Holyfield will make his AAA debut.
