Haku is expected to remain involved with the MFTs on WWE television.
The WWE legend returned to programming in late July, motivating his adopted sons Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga before taking on a managerial role with the group. Haku has continued appearing alongside the MFTs and is reportedly in Boston ahead of tonight’s WWE SmackDown at TD Garden.
“While we have not heard 100% he is in full-time, Haku is already in Boston ahead of tonight’s SmackDown and will be appearing tonight,” one source noted regarding his status with WWE moving forward.
Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga will challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships on tonight’s show. The triple-threat match will also feature reigning champions Damian Priest and R-Truth, along with AAA World Tag Team Champions The War Raiders.
Haku was also in the MFTs’ corner for their victory over Nathan Frazer and Axiom on this week’s episode of WWE Main Event (see video below). The match aired Thursday on YouTube after being taped during Monday’s WWE Raw at Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia.
