SPOILERS: NXT Films Two Different Endings, Title Change

Last night’s taping of NXT television from Full Sail University (results here) included a swerve by creative to keep the fans guessing as to what will actually air on the WWE Network.

Velveteen Dream cashed in on his Worlds Collide tournament victory, which earned him a future title shot at any title that he wanted. Dream chose Johnny Gargano, and the North American championship. The match, said to be fantastic, closed out the tapings as the main event.

And the Dream won.

However, post-match Gargano  came back in, and a different ending was filmed where Dream misses the Purple Rainmaker, and gets submitted via Gargano escape.

Maybe I’m just reading into it but the ending seemed confusing. Almost as if they did a retape to keep people guessing (?)

The taping ended with Gargano and Ciampa posing at the top of the entrance path, much like they did at the conclusion of Takeover Phoenix.

So which ending will NXT air? Will it be Gargano retaining, and a wasted title opportunity going to waste for the Dream? Is Dream the champion, and Gargano stole the belt, slipping deeper into his villainous ways?

Guess we’ll have to tune in to find out.
