Sting may be retired from in-ring competition, but The Icon has now hinted that he may be making a major appearance down the road.
The former multi-time world champion and one-time AEW tag team champion wrestled his final matchup at AEW Revolution back in March of this year. On that night, the Stinger and Darby Allin defeated The Young Bucks to retain the AEW tag team titles, ending his historic career as a champion.
Now Sting hints that he may pop up at another major AEW event. The promotion revealed yesterday that they will be bringing its All In pay-per-view to Texas in 2025. Sting took to X (Twitter) and said that it’s very close to him, and that he’ll be watching the event from “Somewhere.”
