Countdown To TNA Slammiversary
The ‘Countdown to TNA Slammiversary’ pre-show leading into today’s special afternoon, early evening pay-per-view is now officially off-and-running (see video below).
We get the singing of the National Anthem to kick things off. Tom Hannifan and Matt Rehwoldt welcome us to the show. We see the arrivals of TNA World Champion Mike Santana and challenger Nic Nemeth.
From there, authority figure Daria Rae joins Hannifan and Rehwoldt for some more time-killing talk, and then we gear up for our first match of the show.
Tribute To Joe Doering
We see Hannifan and Rehwoldt are wearing tribute arm bands to honor the late Joe Doering, the former TNA star who passed away at age 44 after a lengthy battle with brain cancer.
Indi Hartwell vs. Mara Sadè vs. Elayna Black
Knockouts triple threat action will kick things off inside the squared circle. After the ring entrances, the bell sounds to get things officially started. Sadè was in control for most of it, occasionally forming an alliance with Hartwell.
Sade had things won with a sit out powerbomb on Black, but Hartwell broke up the pin. Sade hit a moonsault on Hartwell, but took the brunt of it her self. Black took advantage and hit a Blackout on Sade to pick up the victory and continue adding to her momentum.
Winner: Elayna Black
TNA Knockouts Television Title Announcement
From there, we head into a special announcement. Women’s wrestling legend Traci Brooks came out and announced the creation of the TNA Knockouts Television Championship. She announces that A 16-woman tournament will start on this coming week’s episode of TNA iMPACT on Thursday, July 2. The title is shown (view photos and video here).
Update On Mystery Challenger For Mustafa Ali
The Hometown Man showed up and drank a beer, which tracks as a Boston hometown man. He ran through some local references and picked Elijah to win over AJ Francis. During the card discussion, TNA International Champion and Open Challenge-issuer Mustafa Ali came down to join the panel.
He asked Daria Rae to reveal his opponent, but before she could, Director of Authority Santino Marella arrived. Marella said that he had found an opponent for Ali, but so did Rae. Marello suggested that the title be defended in a “Triple Ways Dance” and both opponents would be revealed at match time.
Ricky Sosa vs. Eric Young
After another video package or two, we head back to the ring for our final pre-show match of the evening, with TNA veteran Eric Young going one-on-one against highly-touted newcomer Ricky Sosa. The entrances are done and the bell sounds to get us started.
Young thinks Sosa doesn’t respect wrestling and needs to be taught that it’s more than just likes and algorithms. To which Sosa replied “OK, Boomer.” Young took it to Sosa off the top, smacking him in the back of the head. That fired up Sosa.
Sosa returned the favor with some chops. Sosa used his athletic ability to keep control of the more powerful Young. Young for his part tapped into the veteran instinct and landed a Death Valley Driver off of the top turnbuckle with authority.
Young resorted to an eye rake to avoid a slam from Sosa and dropped an elbow from the top rope for two. Sosa hit a sit out driver for a two count of his own. Young went for the pile driver but Sosa countered into a Blue Thunder Bang and picked up the win.
Winner: Ricky Sosa
TNA X-Division Championship (Ultimate X)
Cedric Alexander (c) vs. Leon Slater vs. Frankie Kazarian vs. Mr. Elegance vs. Fabian Aichner vs. KC Navarro vs. Amazing Red
The pre-show wraps up soon after, and we switch over to the pay-per-view portion of the evening. The cold open video plays, we return inside Agganis Arena and after the brief introductory stuff, we head down to ringside for TNA X-Division Championship action, as the Ultimate X kicks things off.
This is the 55th Ultimate X Match in TNA history. The bell rang and the brawling began. Slater went right for Alexander who blew Slater’s attempt to be the longest reigning X Division Champion. Navarro formed a loose alliance with Slater, but after the ring cleared, he took Slater down and made the first attempt to retrieve the title. Slater pulled him off the cable though and pump kicked him to death about it.
Aichner went to get involved, but Novarro DDT’ed him on the outside for his trouble. Mr Elegance then speared Slater in half and climbed the post. Aichner knocked him down, but Alexander, Red, Aichner and Kazarian all flew across the cables towards the belt. Alexander fell first, taking Aichner with him. Red and Kazarian followed and they fought in the ring.
Elegance made another stab at crawling across the cables, but Navarro pulled him down and delivered a Blessing in Disguise before facing off with Amazing Red, his mentor. Red planted him with a tornado DDT and Code Red.
Red went for the belt, but Slater interrupted, whiffing on a spin kick and eating a Code Red from the top turnbuckle. Alexander then took out Red, but Kazarian met him in the ring and dodged a charge to let Alexander slam into the ring post.
Kazarian hung from the cables until Aichner hit him down with a crossbody from the top turnbuckle. All seven men then piled into the corner. Red and Alexander fell to the outside, but Slater took out the remaining four with a super stacked double blockbuster from the top rope.
Slater and Red started climbing and they raced across the cables towards the belt. They unhooked it and played tug of war with it until Alexander jumped up and grabbed it out of both of their hands, landing with both feet and retaining his title.
Winner and STILL TNA X-Division Champion: Cedric Alexander
New 2026 TNA Hall Of Fame Inductee Announced
After the match, Kazarian grabbed a mic and said that seeing Red back in a TNA ring was simply amazing. He gave Red his flowers and said he has everyone’s respect forever. They then played a tribute video to Amazing Red (watch here), highlighting his career. After it was over, Red and Kazarian embraced and Mike Santana came to the top of the ramp to applaud Red. The crowd chanted “Thank You Red.”
Elijah vs. A.J Francis
After Elijah refused to collab with Francis on some music, Francis purchased the rights to Elijah’s name, likeness and music. Elijah “talked to the lawyers” and arranged to be able to get his NIL back of he beats Francis tonight.
After an introduction from Expressions, Francis sauntered to the ring and we got our second Jalen Brown joke of the night. Fake $100 bills with Francis’ face on them rained down on the crowd. Elijah walked, as he does, out with less fanfare, but played the chords for “More Than a Feeling” by Boston. He started playing Seven Nation Army, which is kind of his theme, but was stopped because Francis “owns” it which I’m sure was news to Jack White.
Anyway, Elijah hit a high knee right off the bell for a close two count. He bounced Francis’ head off the ring apron (the moniest part of the ring!) and then landed a drive by knee strike. Expressions grabbed Elijah’s ankle, which gave Francis an opening for a big right hand shot.
Elijah came back with a forearm off the top turnbuckle and Expressions distracted the ref again, allowing Francis to got for a Styles Clash, but Elijah escaped. Francis went back to punching him in the face real hard to counter.
Francis went for a powerbomb but Elijah countered it into an Alabama Slam. Elijah hit a stunner on Francis but could only get a two count. Francis speared Elijah for a two count of his own. Elijah went for a Drifter Destroyer, but Francis caught him and then set him up for a Moonsault.
Elijah planted Francis with a Highwayman’s Piledriver and Expressions got in the ring to try and bribe him. Elija decided to hit him with a guitar instead. Francis crawled up behind him and powerbombed Elijah before hitting a Styles Clash. Elijah kicked out of the cover at two.
Elijah nailed a Drifter Destroyer off the top rope and made the cover, pinning Francis to regain his name, image and likeness from the former Music Mogul. After the match a guitar appered in the ring with LED’s in it. Elijah slung it over his shoulder and walked… away.
Winner: Elijah
-Backstage, Mike Santana was interviewed about his match with Nic Nemeth tonight. Santana said that he has lived, breathed and bled for TNA since he arrived there and he promises to give his heart and soul in the match against Nemeth.
TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship
The Elegance Brand (c) vs. Allie & Rosemary
Rosemary and M started things off with Rosemary screaming her into submission. Heather tagged in to take on Allie and Allie put her down with a series of shoulder tackles. Also screaming. Allie hit a forearm to the face in the corner before hanging Heather up in a tarantula. Rosemary took out M, but Ash took out Rosemary.
The chaos allowed Heather get the upper hand and isolate Allie in the Elegance corner. M and Heather double teamed her until M hit a driver looking for a cover. Allie kicked out at two though. Heather grabbed her in a tight headlock and then tagged in M who took over with a dropkick.
Allie hit a twisting neckbreaker and went to tag Rosemary, but The Concierge pulled her off the corner. M and Heather double teamed Allie with Heather hitting a second rope DDT and a dropkick in the corner before M went coast to coast. She made a cover, but Allie wasn’t finished.
Allie made the tag to Rosemary who took Heather apart. She hit a suplex and then a side slam on Heather, but only got a two count. Rosemary went for a pin, but M grabbed a blind tag. M hit a moonsault, but Allie broke up the cover.
Allie slammed Heather, but M got her with a block buster. Rosemary then speared M and everyone was left laying. Ash broke up a pin attempt by Rosemary who left the ring and went to spray mist at her. Ash ducked behind the concierge who took the mist to the face.
Back in the ring, Heather set up Rosemary for Nip and Tuck, but Rosemary got out of it. She hit a reverse bulldog on Heather and made the pin to win the Knockouts Tag Titles for DEMONxBUNNY.
Winners and NEW TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Champions: Allie & Rosemary
-Backstage, Santino and Daria Rae discussed the “Three Ways Dance” for the International Title. They said nothing of consequence.
TNA International Championship (Open Challenge)
Mustafa Ali (c) vs. Rich Swann vs. Uhaa Nation
Who are the mystery challengers for Mustafa Ali? The time has come to find out. Ali came down to the ring and demanded to know who he was facing. The first opponent was none other that Rich Swann. And then the second opponent revealed themselves as none other than Uhaa Nation, formerly known as Apollo Crews. Now that the field was set, the bell rang and Uhaa immediately military pressed Ali out of the ring. Uhaa and Swan fought, trading leapfrogs and rolls until Uhaa caught Swann with a dropkick. Ali ran back in and tried to steal the win, but didn’t even get a one count on Swann.
Uhaa went up top for a massive splash on Swann but couldn’t get the cover. Ali climbed the ring post, but Uhaa and Swann saw him coming and dropkicked him. Uhaa lifted Swann up, but Ali grabbed him and Styles Clashed him from the top rope onto Uhaa. Swann went for a handspring cutter, but Ali dodged it and countered with a Power Bomb. Uhaa rejoined the fray and double powerbombed Ali. Swann kicked him in the head to break up the pin. Everyone moved to the outside where Swann lured Uhaa into the steel steps and then threw him back in the ring for a 450.
Swann went for the cover but Uhaa kicked out at two. Uhaa perked up and spammed German suplexes to Ali and Swann. Ali then German suplexed Swann into Uhaa, who caught him and German’ed Swann again. Ali broke up the cover attempt. Swann then DDT’ed Ali onto Uhaa and went up top. He hit a frog splash on Ali, but Ali kicked out of the cover. Uhaa got to his feet and hit a falling suplex from the second rope on Swann. Suddenly, Tasha Steeles got up on the apron and pointed to the entry way where Special Agent 0 was striding to the ring. That distracted Uhaa who was attacked by Ali from behind.
Agent 0 moved the steps at ringside and piled them on top of Uhaa. Ali then went up top and tried a 450, but Swann dodged it and turned him inside out with a kick. Ali grabbed him in a bridged suplex and got a three count to retain his title. Despite the odds being stacked against him, somehow Ali managed to survive the open challenge against two mystery opponents with his TNA International Championship reign in-tact.
Winner and STILL TNA International Champion: Mustafa Ali
No Surrender Match
Moose vs. Eddie Edwards
The only way that a No Surrender Match can end is by a participant’s corner person throwing in the towel. In Moose’s corner, JCB. In Edwards’, his wife Alicia. On his way to the ring, Moose ran into Uhaa Nation and welcomed him to TNA.
Edwards kicked Moose in the face as he was getting into the ring and Moose responded with the most vicious powerbomb onto the apron. Moose moved the ring steps and went to powerbomb Edwards onto them. Edwards countered though and back body dropped Moose onto the steel.
Edwards dragged Moose into the ring but whiffed on a shot in the corner. Moose slammed him and then dropped a senton onto Edwards before sending him to the outside. Moose went under the ring and pulled out a table. He put it on the apron and Edwards baseball slid into it to knock Moose over. Moose’s ankle was under the table, so Edwards stomped it for good measure.
Edwards bounced Moose’s skull off the ring-post and threw him back in the ring. Edwards chopped Moose, but the big man powered up and they traded chops in the middle of the ring. Moose hit a headbutt, but Edwards clotheslined him and nailed him with a Boston Knee Party. JDC did not throw in the towel though.
Edwards went under the ring and pulled out a length of chain. He balled it up and clocked Moose with it. He then tied the chain around his knee and charged for a Knee Party, but Moose caught him with a powerbomb. Moose set up that table in the corner and then tried to spear Edwards through it. Edwards countered it and kicked Moose in the face with his chain-wrapped foot.
Edwards grabbed two giant zip ties and tied Moose’s hands to the second rope. He then grabbed a Kendo stick from under the ring (I don’t know why they keep them there) and beat Moose mercilessly with it. JDC looked like he was going to throw in the towel, but Moose begged him not to.
Moose’s wife then hopped the barricade and tried to throw in the towel. Edwards then left the ring and knocked her down to get to JDC. Moose’s son came to check on his mom and Edwards grabbed him and pulled him into the ring. Moose’s Son hit a low blow to avoid a powerbomb and Moose’s wife slapped Alicia Edwards. Moose then broke both zip-ties, freeing himself to spear Edwards in half, twice.
JDC threw Moose the chain and Moose wrapped himself in it to spear Edwards one more time, busting him open. Moose lined him up again to spear Edwards through the table, but Alicia ran in between them and threw in the towel. After the match, JDC hit Edwards with a stunner and Moose speared both of the Edwards’ through the table.
Winner: Moose
TNA Knockouts World Championship
Lei Ying Lee (c) vs. Xia Brookside
Now we gear up for yet another title tilt, as the TNA Knockouts World Championship is on-the-line in our next match of the show, with reigning title-holder Lei Ying Lee defending her gold against Xia Brookside. Lee came to the ring with a gigantic sword that.
The bell rang they started brawling with Lee coming out on top and hitting Brookside with a back elbow off the ropes. She continued pounding on Brookside, tossing her across the ring twice. Brookside tried to fight back but Lee was in complete control.
Lee threw Brookside with a German suplex, screaming “you wanted this!” as she rolled out of the ring. Lee launched herself into Brookside in front of the announce table. Lee bounced Brookside’s head off the apron a couple of times before rolling in to break the count.
Lee super-kicked Brookside into the ringp-ost, but when she went for a second, Bookside moved and Lee’s leg hit the post full force. Brookside threw her back into the ring and wrapped her knee around the post and slammed it against the apron.
Back in the ring, Brookside worked the injured leg of Lee. Lee started firing up though and threw a head butt at Brookside to stagger her. Brookside got herself together and kicked Lee’s leg out from under her. Lee got Brookside in a half-crab-twist leglock, but Brookside elbowed her way out.
Lee kicked her, but the leg gave out and she fell. She came back up swinging though and sent Brookside into the corner. Lee climbed up and punched her exactly 10 times before throwing her in an exploder suplex.
Brookside found room for a chop block and set Lee up on the top turnbuckle for a Brooksy Bomb, but Lee fought back and power-bombed her. One the way down though Brookside grabbed the turnbuckle cover, ripping it off.
Lee went up top and Brookside pulled her off the ropes, sending her face first into the exposed turnbuckle. Brookside then hit Darkside and pinned Lee to become the new Knockouts World Champion.
Winner and NEW TNA Knockouts World Champion: Xia Brookside
TNA World Tag-Team Championships (Ladder Match)
The System (c) vs. The Hardys vs. The Righteous vs. The Great Hands
From one title tilt into another we go, as four teams are about to compete in a ladder match with the TNA World Tag-Team Championships on-the-line. The Hardys arrived last and grabbed a ladder from the entrance ramp. For some reason, their opponents felt like this was a good time to charge at them and the Hardy’s beat them with the ladder.
The Hardy’s went for the titles right off the bat, but were quickly pulled down. The System and the Righteous fought and Vincent gathered everyone at ringside so Dutch could dive on them. Skylar and Vincent went up to the top turnbuckle and Skylar dove onto the field with Vincent on his shoulders.
Hotch had a clear path to the belts, but Meyers arrived and knocked him off the ladder onto the field on the outside. Then Meyers tried to climb the ladder but the Hardys put a stop to that, running their greatest hits over Meyers.
The Hardys set up dual ladders and went for the belts but the Righteous pulled them down. Matt hit a twist of fate on Dutch and he and Vincent climbed the ladders. They traded punches at the top with Matt hitting Vincent’s head off the rungs of the ladder on the way down.
The Hardys went under the ring to pull out a pair of tables. They set one up, but the Great Hands intercepted them and moved those darn steps again! They rand the stairs into Jeff’s face and then set up the second table. Bronson and Meyers attacked and added a third table on top of the two that were already set up. The Righteous fought them off and added a fourth table to the mix.
Bronson and Meyers went for the title belts, but the Great Hands cut them off and ran one of the ladders into Meyers’ face. Bronson avenged his partner by burying the Great Hands under a ladder and throwing a senton.
Suddenly, the Righteous emerged from the back with a “Wicked Garden” ladder (aka a while ladder covered in barbed wire and flowers). Bronson fought them off through and set up their ladder in the corner. He went to throe Vincent onto it, but Dutch cut him off and drove Bronson into the Wicked ladder.
Dutch slammed Bronson onto the ladder again and Vincent hit a senton from the top rope to add the exclamation point. They then set Bronson up inside the ladder and smashed him with it. Meyers came back with a spear on Vincent, but Dutch slammed him onto the Wicked ladder, crushing Bronson in the process.
The Righteous rolled them out of the ring and set up a ladder. They climbed up but the Great Hands pushed the ladders over. The Hands fought of the Hardys hitting The Favor on Matt from the ladder. Meyers appeared and stopped them from getting the belts though.
Meyers and Vincent climbed opposite sides of the ladder and traded shots. Vincent grabbed Meyers head and shoved some of his Lily of The Valley into his mouth, incapacitating him. Bronson slammed Vincent with a Bear Down onto the Wicked ladder to avenge his partner.
Bronson set up a ladder and he and Dutch climbed it on opposite sides. They fought at the top until the Hardys pushed the ladder over sending them both through the quadruple tables that were set up at ringside. The Hardys went for the belts, but the Great Hands cut them off.
They almost got them, but the Hardys pulled them off the ladder and laid them out on a ladder positioned over the steps and the ring like a bridge. They opened the Wicked Ladder and set it up next to them. Jeff climbed the Wicked ladder and Swantoned onto the Great Hands, breaking them and the ladder in half.Matt set up a ladder in the ring and he and Jeff climbed up and grabbed the TNA Tag Team Titles to win the match.
Winners and NEW TNA World Tag-Team Champions: The Broken Hardys

Mike Santana (c) vs. Nic Nemeth
It’s main event time!
“The Wanted Man” Nic Nemeth makes his way to the ring for his long-awaited Call Your Shot cash-in title opportunity. He settles in the ring and his music dies down. Now the rising popular reigning TNA World Champion Mike Santana comes out next.
The bell rang and the fight was on. A shoving match started things off, with Santana transitioning it to a lock up. They fought each other off and Santana grabbed a headlock. Nemeth got out of it and took a moment to reset. They played cat and mouse with each other, each trying to find an opening to take control.
Santana manged to get a superkick in and then dove over the top rope onto Nemeth on the outside. Santana chopped Nemeth around the outside, then threw him into the timekeeper’s area. Ryan Nemeth appeared in the ring and Santana shrugged and got into the ring to beat him up. The Ref stepped between them instead and ejected Ryan from the area. Santana climbed back out to return his attention to Nic, but Nemeth was waiting and clocked him with the Call Your Shot Trophy.
Nemeth then rolled into the ring and Santana followed to beat the count out at nine. Nemeth started beating on the bloodied Santana, dropping a jumping elbow for a two count. Nemeth put Santana in a crossface, but Santana rolled out of it. Nemeth grabbed a sleeper hold on the bleeding Santana. Santana got to his feet and backed Nemeth into the corner. Nemeth reset his sleeper and Santana started fading, fading, not fading! He stood up and back dropped Nemeth to break the hold.
They starterd trading shots in the middle of the ring and Santana started gaining moentum. He hit a spin kick and then a rolling Buck Fifty, but Nemeth kicked out at two. Santana hit a DVD off the ropes, but again, Nemeth kicked out. Nemeth hit a DDT out of the corner and then landed Danger Zone on Santana, but only got a two count on the champion.
Santana got to his feet and Nemeth hit a superkick. Santana no sold it and immediately hit Spin the Block. He went for the cover, but Nemeth kicked out. Nemeth threw another superkick but Santana kicked out of the cover at one and delivered a superkick of his own. Santana went for Spin The Block, but faded on the way in due to blood loss. Nemeth hit a Danger Zone and the three-count. Nic Nemeth is TNA World Champion. The Nemeth Brothers celebrated in the ring as the show ended. Thanks for joining us!
Winner and NEW TNA World Champion: Nic Nemeth
