AEW has released a new video promo of pro-wrestling legend Tully Blanchard tearing into his protege, Shawn Spears. The two were paired nearly a year ago ahead of Spears’ showdown with top company superstar, Cody Rhodes. In the clip below, the former four-horseman member scolds Spears for not remaining focused in his time in AEW, and specifically calls him out for his comedy spot at Double or Nothing, where Spears had Blanchard’s face on the crotch of his tights.
In what freaking world do you think that was funny? That’s not what my legacy is gonna be Shawn.
Blanchard also informs Spears that his search for a tag partner, which was a major angle for the former WWE star, was over.
That time is over, it’s stopped, no more search.
