WWE is advertising CM Punk for more than 20 upcoming events over the next two-and-a-half months.
The company shared a graphic on social media Thursday listing Punk for 22 events between Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown in Boston and the October 30 edition of SmackDown in West Virginia.
The graphic was released as part of a ticket promotion offering fans up to 20 percent off select tickets by using the promotional code “PUNK20.”
“Two decades of The Best in the World,” WWE’s social media announcement began (see post below). “Save up to 20% on select tickets using code: PUNK20 as WWE honors 20 years of CM Punk!”
Among the events Punk is advertised for is WWE/AAA Worlds Collide on September 26 in his hometown of Chicago.
Interestingly, WWE Money in the Bank on October 10 in New Orleans is not included on the graphic. However, because the graphic is specifically tied to the “PUNK20” ticket promotion, Punk’s absence from the list does not necessarily mean he won’t be appearing at the premium live event. WWE may simply not be offering the 20 percent discount for Money in the Bank.
