Elijah Holyfield is headed to AAA, where he will reunite with The Undertaker.
On the latest episode of WWE LFG, Shawn Michaels informed Holyfield that he would be making the move to AAA and working under his former trainer, The Undertaker.
The announcement came after Holyfield teamed with Apollo Crews against Kam Hendrix and Harley Riggins on the program. Michaels praised Holyfield as a prospect before revealing what was next for him.
“I think, coming in the door, you were a very valued prospect to us,” Michaels said. “I’m sure, maybe from your perspective, it has been a while.”
“Maybe you’ve had some setbacks with the injury, but an opportunity has arose for us to get you into the game. You are going to have the opportunity to go down to AAA and show the world who Elijah Holyfield truly is.”
Michaels then confirmed that Holyfield would once again be working with The Undertaker in AAA.
“You will be meeting up with your old trainer, the Undertaker,” Michaels said. “The possibilities down there are going to be unlimited for you. Congratulations, and thank you very much for always giving it your best.”
