WWE continues to quietly expand its roster pipeline with another new name filing.
According to a recent update, the company officially applied to trademark the name “EK Prosper” on March 31, signaling what appears to be a potential new in-ring persona.
The filing comes on the heels of several similar trademark submissions earlier this month. In many of those cases, the names were later revealed to be ring names assigned to prospects within the WWE ID program, suggesting a similar situation could be unfolding here.
As of now, there is no confirmation regarding which talent the “EK Prosper” name is intended for, nor whether it has already been assigned behind the scenes.
Still, the pattern is becoming clear.
WWE’s ongoing trademark activity continues to offer early clues into future character debuts, particularly as the company builds up its next generation of talent.
