WWE Network Running “Dream Match” 2K Simulation, Drew McIntyre Chronicle Air-Date Changed

WWE Network News issued the following press release announcing a special airing of a “dream match” simulation on the WWE 2K20 video game. Details are below.

We can exclusively reveal that a new WWE Network special is scheduled to air during Wrestlemania week, and this one is a tad unusual. The original is titled WWE Dream Match Mania and it will premiere on Thursday, April 2nd. The subject matter is obvious, with the focus on dream matches, however the matches will be done via simulation using WWE 2K games. Beyond that, we know that the upload should be around an hour in length although we don’t currently have a specific run time.

The site also announced that the new chronicle on Royal Rumble winner Drew McIntyre, which was originally set to air after NXT Takeover Tampa, will now be available after night one of WrestleMania 36.

In non-exclusive news, we noted weeks ago that a new WWE Chronicle would be premiering during Wrestlemania Weekend featuring Drew McIntyre. As a reminder, WWE Chronicle: Drew McIntyre will be streaming on Saturday, April 4th. However due to NXT Takeover not taking place, the original special on the Scottish Superstar will be streaming following Wrestlemania 36 Part 1.

So, what do you think? Does the concept of Dream Match Mania interest you at all? And are you excited for a new episode of WWE Chronicle?
