NXT Championship Ladder Match Summit

Shiloh Hill: Keanu, man, what you just did to Mr. Chase right there, that might scare some people, not me, though. That just made me more pumped up, that sound, bone snapping, like, twigs in the woods, I like that. And if you think about it, a Ladder Match is really perfect for me. You got all that physical carnage and brutality, but you also got to use your head. Know when to climb the ladder, how high to go, what angle to take.

Dion Lennox: Hey, you gonna lose a few more teeth if you keep yapping like that. Dropping bodies has been DarkState’s blueprint, and ain’t nobody do it better. We took care of the old guard who said I wasn’t ready. So, if y’all think you’re gonna jump me in line for that title, you must be out of your damn mind.

Sean Legacy: But that’s just it, Dion, what if I am? I mean, I know I’m the new guy, but I’ve been busting my tail. I mean, I’ve been doing crazy things, night after night, just hoping for an opportunity, and here I am. I’ve got nothing to lose. This is the biggest opportunity of my life. And in that Ladder Match, Sean Legacy can be a little bit crazy, can be a little bit reckless.

Jackson Drake: And that is exactly why your dumbass is going to choke. Listen, listen, listen, here’s the thing, I can be the human highlight reel, no problem. But unlike you, I’m calculated. I didn’t even need to break a sweat to get into this match. So, next week, I’m going to put myself on the map. And of course, after I win, I remember to pour one out for Joe Hendry, the guy I was supposed to compete against tonight, who had a very unfortunate, untimely injury. But the good news for each of you, is that all of you will be able to say that you were part of history, all of you will be able to say you watched Jackson Drake climb that ladder and become the youngest double champion in this company’s history.

– Ricky Saints walks down to the ring with a Ladder.

Ricky Saints: Let me let you know something, the view from up here is absolutely beautiful. But as I look down on all of you guys, it dawns on me that I see a lot of potential, I see a lot of future champions. But simply put, you guys are the seeds that haven’t sprouted yet, and while I’m simply the rose that has come up from this concrete jungle known as NXT, and that’s why I, “Absolute” Ricky Saints is absolutely built to be the 2X NXT Champion.

Keanu Carver: I’m not gonna hold you, y’all doing way too much talking. And to be honest, we really don’t have to wait for next week.
