– El Grande Americano and Los Americanos walk into the NXT Locker Room. El Grande wanted his own special private locker room. He starts picking up Josh Briggs bag to make space for himself. Briggs tells El Grande to put his bag down before he puts his hands on him. El Grande wants to know what Briggs problem is. Briggs doesn’t care that El Grande is a big deal in AAA and that he has the Speed Title, he makes his money put down fan favorites like them. Briggs says that El Grande can beat a rookie, like, Jasper Troy, but how long could he survive being in the ring with him, no title, no time limit, no pity, Comprende? El Grande calls Briggs a gringo. El Grande is fine with that; he will show the NXT Universe who he is. El Grande is accepting Briggs challenge. El Grande tells Briggs to walk.
– TNA Knockout Lei Ying Lee says in a Twitter video that Kelani Jordan has brought shame to the TNA Knockouts World Championship, and she plans on taking back the honor. Kelani interrupts a conversation Kendal Grey was having with Tyra Mae Steele, Wren Sinclair and Karmen Petrovic. Kelani says that she was just like Kendal when she won her first championship, but she’ll learn. In fact, they should listen to what she has to say in the ring, go find a monitor.
Kelani Jordan PromoÂ
Kelani Jordan: Last week, I did everything I could to keep this TNA Knockouts World Championship, by any means necessary. I guess you could say, it was a bit out of character for Kelani Jordan. Shut up while a champion is talking. Let me ask you a question. Why is it when Dominik Mysterio cheats and wins the AAA Mega Championship, you guys all cheer, and you love him? When Cody Rhodes uses his title against Drew McIntyre on Saturday Night’s Main Event, y’all going to continue to sing his song come Friday night. But why does everyone have a problem with me? This is why NXT is drowning in hypocrisy. An opportunity came up when Ash By Elegance vacated this title. I come in and win it on the first night, and I tell myself, I’m not going to be a champion, like, Trick Williams. I’m not going to trash the brand and wear my title upside down. I’ll hold this title with honor and prestige, a title held by so many great women.
And you know what that gets me? Booed. Kicked out the locker room. Labeled as a traitor, amongst people who I thought were my friends. How dare you represent TNA, Kelani? Oh, so I can’t do that, but it’s okay for Lola Vice to go AAA every other week, and we all love that for Lola, so let’s tell the truth. The truth is, I was kicked out the locker room by women who haven’t accomplished half of what I’ve accomplished in NXT. I don’t just call myself “The Standout” for no reason, I’ve been the standout since my tryout in Nashville, three years ago. And to this day, there is not a woman that can keep up with me, athletically. They know it back there, and all you guys know it out here. But the sad thing is, they don’t care, they switch their minds every single week. They’re not loyal, they only care about who fits their little narratives, girls with fat asses and catchphrases, when what they should be caring about is that I’m the most elite athlete that stepped foot in this ring.
Perfect example, Jordynne Grace, every single one of you booed her out this building. And here I come, I knock her upside the head with my title, to get some truth, and now I’m public enemy number one. You guys aren’t fans, you’re followers. And no, I’m not going to be a champion, like, Tatum Paxley, handing out opportunities, left and right, it’s my time to be selfish now. So, yeah, I know Gold Rush is coming up in New York City, but I’m not defending my title, I’m staying at home, because there’s no women in NXT or the TNA Locker Room who is worthy, who has earned it. So, yeah, Lei Ying Lee, I see you chattering on social media. Girl, I barely even know you, you’re barely even on my radar. And by the way, I’ve already beaten you, hello? So, call me a traitor, call me disloyal, call me whatever the hell you want, but one thing that you’re going to call me is champion.
– Sarah Schreiber had a backstage interview with OTM. Why did they decide to ruin the Triple Threat Tag Team Match from a couple weeks ago? Checks and championships are the only things they’re after. They’re not chasing dreams anymore, they’re taking them. OTM is coming for everything this locker room has taken for granted. They’re stepping on every throat that get in their way. What happened during that Triple Threat Match was just a glimpse of what OM is bringing to the tag team division. They don’t have to hell anymore. OTM is the silence that shakes rooms. Chase University joins the conversation. Uriah Connors says that they didn’t forget about that attack. Kale Dixon tells OTM if they have issues with Chase U, do something about it. Uriah says that they’re tired of being treated like steppingstones to advance different tag teams. Bronco Nima calls Chase U bench players that act like starters. OTM has no problem sending Chase U to the hospital right now. Andre Chase says that it’s fine, no need to escalate things. Pissing OTM is not a good idea. Do Uriah and Kale if ever listen to anything Mr. Chase has to say?

– We see Kendal Grey getting Wren Sinclair hyped up for upcoming Speed Championship Tournament match. Kelani Jordan asks Kendal and Wren if they watched her promo? Wren was about to answer the question, but Kendal told her that she needs to focus on her match. AVA tells Kelani that she wants to talk about something in her office. Kelani passive aggressively says this should be good. AVA wanted to talk privately, but she heard what Kelani had to say out there. It’s not her decision whether she defends the TNA Knockouts World Championship at NXT Gold Rush or not. Kelani says that it’s not AVA’s decision either, because last time she checked, she’s not the GM of TNA. Tyra Mae Steele joins the conversation. First, Kelani cheats to retain last week, and now she’s disrespecting the WWE Universe and AVA, what’s gotten into her? Tyra looked up to Kelani as a fellow athlete. Kelani says that Tyra can still look up to her, but she’s telling it like it is now. The way it is, when Kelani steps into any room, she’s the most gifted superstar, and Tyra has become something that every Olympic Gold Medalist is unfamiliar with, and that’s second place. AVA wants to make something clear. Yes, she’s not the General Manager of TNA, but she is the GM of NXT, and this is her show. So, if Kelani wants to act like she calls the shots, sure, she can test her luck tonight against Tyra Mae Steele. Tyra says we’ll see who likes second place.
– Ricky Saints runs into Myles Borne in the backstage area. Myles knows that Ricky has a Last Man Standing Match with Trick Williams next week, but if he could, save him a piece of Trick for him. Ricky has no problem with that and gives Myles a fist bump.
Ricky Saints & Trick Williams Sit-Down InterviewÂ
Trick Williams: Look at you, Ricky, you can try to cover up those bruises if you want to, but we both know you’re still banged up since Halloween Havoc. That title is too big for you, champ, you ain’t built to carry it like me.
Ricky Saints: You act like I can’t handle the pressure or something. Wasn’t it you, last week, that came out and threw a whole big fit on TV, because you lost? Because that’s the truth, I beat you at Halloween Havoc, clean, 1-2-3, you lost. And need I remind you, it was me that actually gave you the shot, and I didn’t have you jump through any hoops or hurdles; I actually made it very easy for you. But instead of accepting the fact that you lost, like a man, and get your ass to the back of the line, you had to come out and try to take the show hostage. Why? Because your ego can’t handle being second best.
Trick Williams: That’s because Trick Williams is second to none. You worked your whole life, your whole life just to get to this spot, but you still know nothing about carrying this brand.
Ricky Saints: You don’t even give a damn about NXT. You had one foot in and one foot out the door since I got here. And really, the only reason you’re obsessed with the NXT Championship is, because it’s some type of security blanket to you. But to me, this, right here, is representation, it’s the culmination of who I am as a man, a person that works hard. I will be honest with you though, I thought this would be a pitstop, but as champion, I realized that I can take NXT to heights that you failed to do so. That right there is the difference between you and I, you take everything for granted, not me, not this championship, not the people, and not NXT, itself.
Trick Williams: So, now you’re the man of the people, huh, Ricky? That’s what you don’t understand. That championship doesn’t belong to someone like you. You look like a fan. You want your title, you go to WWEShop.com like everybody else, because that NXT Championship belongs to a star, like, Trick Williams. Ricky, I’m bigger than you, I am better than you, and on Tuesday, I will be the Last Man Standing, let’s talk about it.
Ricky Saints: Trick, you wear delusional well, you would think it’s designer at this point, but let me tell you, I’m done with the talking. We don’t have to wait till next week, because, obviously, you don’t think I don’t know how to fight. Let’s handle it, right now, let me remind your ass just who I am.
Trick tried to attack Ricky with a steel pipe. Ricky and Trick start brawling all over the backstage area. Trick hits Ricky in the ribs with the steel pipe.
Trick Williams: You don’t want to see this side of me, Ricky, but next week, you will, when I get my championship back.

AVA would love to see Sol get her hands on Blake Monroe, but she could only sign off on match if she’s medically cleared. Zaria says that this could be perfect, they both could become champions at Gold Rush. Fatal Influence joins the conversation. Before Tatum Paxley comes up with another crazy idea, Jacy wants her rematch for the NXT Women’s Championship at Gold Rush. Ethan Page & Chelsea Green Championship CelebrationÂ
Ethan Page: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to The Muy Grande Champion Campeon or Celebration, if you only speak English. Folks, I’m here to talk about two of the greatest Canadiens that ever lived. Now, the fact of the matter is, we really don’t have many fans, not here tonight. In locker rooms around the world, everybody hates us, because what we do, Chelsea? We say things and they come true. Listen, gents, we said we were going to become the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions, and we stand here before you, the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions. But let’s not forget, I also stand before you, the reigning, defending, greatest to ever hold, the North American Champion. Proving my point, once again, that I really am the greatest North American to ever lace up a pair of boots in a WWE ring.
Chelsea Green: Ethan, I totally, totally understand you, because as a fellow of Canadian, and one of half of the AAA Tag Team Champions, and of course, future 2X United States Women’s Champion, we’re despised, and you know what, jealousy is a disease, and this locker room is riddled with it. But who can blame them, though, look at us? I mean, name a more iconic duo in wrestling history, that has potential to take over the entire industry than us? I didn’t think so.
Ethan Page: Folks, this was not a mistake, we didn’t fall into these championships, no, we said it, and it came true. And what we plan to do with these AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles, is we plan to defend them against anybody and everybody.
Chelsea Green: Okay, don’t let it ruin our night, Ethan. Okay, this is our Muy Grande Campeon Celebration or whatever it is. I got the Margaritas, we’ve got the decor, and we’ve got the desperados in the crowd, acknowledging our greatness. I just wished that Joe was here.
Ethan Page: Don’t say that name. You say that name, it ruins everything. We’re celebrating, not tonight.
Chelsea Green: Okay, Ethan, I just wanted to say that I wish he was here, because Joe and …
Ethan Page: No, don’t say it, don’t say it, he ruins everything.
Chelsea points out a massive Canadian Theme Cake in the middle of the ring.
Ethan Page: You know what, just say his name, and we’ll deal with it. I think that’s a good idea. Just say it.
Chelsea Green: Slaygent A, say it.
Alba Fyre: Joe Hendry.
Joe Hendry music hits and he appears on the stage.
Joe Hendry: Say his name and he appears. Sometimes the straightforward approach is best. Ethan and Chelsea, you took my advice the wrong way. You got so caught up in your egos that you forgot what real talent looks like.
Ethan Page: Okay, Joe, that’s enough. Cut to the chase, buddy, I know you’re up to something. Just say what you want. You want a shot at the North American Title at Gold Rush? Go ahead, but you haven’t deserved it.
Joe Hendry: Ethan, Ethan, Ethan, it’s true, I do want a title shot, I want a shot at the AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles.
Chelsea Green: Joe, buddy, I don’t know how the metric system works in wherever the hell you’re from, but there’s two of us, and one of you. Newsflash, you, my friend, need a partner.
Joe Hendry:Â A partner? I need a partner, so maybe someone who can do the spin, someone who can wave their hands from side-to-side, someone who can stand beside me and chant, we believe.
Ethan Page: Okay, so who, who?
Joe Hendry: Who? Well, I mean, I was going to keep it a secret until Gold Rush, but if you want to know who it is, right here tonight, then all you have to do is say her name?
We got a remix of Joe Hendry’s Theme Song. This time it’s, say her name, and she appears. I believe in Thea.
Thea Hail pops out of the Canadian Cake. Thea throws two pies at The Secret Hervice. Hendry tees off on Page. Hail with a Diving Crossbody Block off the cake. Hendry gives Page the pie treatment. Hendry and Hail stand tall in the ring as the show goes off the air.
