Kali Armstrong: Oh, yeah. Hey, NXT Universe, I got something to say. I don’t call myself, The Difference Maker, for no reason. Last week was crazy, man, it really got to me. I was watching Great American Bash, and I saw Kendal Grey finally win the NXT Women’s Championship. I heard y’all cheering, I heard the chants, I heard y’all say how much she deserves it. And as I watching, I was thinking, the only thing that went through my mind was, there’s my target. But I mean, can you blame me? That’s what got all of y’all talking right now. I mean, hell, that seemed like the only way I could get some appreciation around here, that seemed like the only way.
I’ve been in the locker rooms, I’ve heard it all, I’ve heard some chicks crying about how they don’t get no opportunities, and then I’m seeing other chicks get opportunities and blow it. So, “The Difference Maker” Kali Armstrong creates her own opportunities. As soon as I flipped on Kendal Grey, every single last one of y’all was no longer talking about the new champ. Y’all know who you were talking about? Go ahead, guess who y’all were talking about. Me. Y’all was talking about Kali Armstrong, straight like that. And let’s keep it 100, we all know that it wasn’t a matter of if Kali Armstrong was going to run this women’s division, it was just a matter of when. But I’m tired of waiting, I’m ready to get what I deserve, I’m ready to get that NXT Women’s Championship. And I don’t care who brings it to me. I don’t care if it’s Kendal or Nattie, because I got something for both of them raggedy heffers.
– Lola Vice makes her way down to the ring.
Lola Vice: Hola, NXT. Kali, shut the hell up and slow your roll. You think just because you jumped Kendal, you did something, and you’re up next? Mama, in my eyes, that doesn’t make you, The Difference Maker, it makes you impatient. And before you make all of these championship plans, remember that Lola Vice still hasn’t gotten her rematch. Hey, so, I’ll be watching tonight, and I don’t care who wins it, because I’m getting my title back, baby.
Kali Armstrong: Hey, man, slow your horses, mamacita. This ain’t even about you, it’s about me. I’m going to be out there watching the match, and I’m going to be next in line to get a title shot.
Kelani Jordan: Are you guys being serious right now? I’m sitting back there listening to you guys argue, who’s next in line for the NXT Women’s Championship, and I can’t help but to think, based on what? Lola, you lost at The Bash, womp-womp. And Kali, I don’t hate the way you’re moving, but you attacked Kendal from behind, because you couldn’t earn your way to her face. And somehow both of you think you’re entitled to a championship match? I don’t think so. Last week, I did what you’re supposed to do and earn opportunities. I beat Tatum Paxley and proved just why I’m the standout. And yet, like always, no one is talking about me, everyone is more concerned about poor little, Tatum Paxley. And then we have you two who think you deserve the match that I’ve deserved for three years, like, what? Hello, I feel like a broken record, because I am. Because the conversation about who’s next in line for the NXT Women’s Championship revolves around me.

I ain’t gonna lie to y’all, Nattie is in my head. She got me feeling like I don’t know who I am. Man, I’m so down bad, I’ve got myself trapped in a Sharpshooter, and I did the one thing in my career I have never experienced, I quit. But after looking myself in the mirror, I realized I got one or two choices. I could be who Nattie wants me to be or I could just be Jaida Parker. And from the looks of it, you know which choice I made, because I got that dub over Karmen. That’s one down. You want me to be just like you, but you’re not the type of legend that I’m looking up to. If anything, baby, I should be thanking you. It was never about me being soft, it was about me being this close to where I want to be. It’s funny, because you want to tell people that you came to NXT for me. Bitch, please, you came to NXT to make your stale ass career relevant, again. And congratulations, you did it, you beat me, you got the job done, and you are more relevant than you have been in years and now you have the opportunity for the NXT Women’s Championship. So, it looks like we’re both trying to level up, but in order for me to do that, I have to go to a place you have never been. I have to put you down, Nattie, and I will. – Emily Agard had a backstage interview with Saquon Shugars. Saquon said that DarkState pulled a rouse over him at The Great American Bash. What does he look like trying to get his lick back? He has to be smart, he’s playing chess, and they’re playing hungry hippo. All Saquon had to do was show up and he got DarkState shaking in their spandex. They lost their opportunity at the NXT Tag Team Titles. He knows that DarkState is back to full strength, so he can’t just pick them off like he did before. But understand one thing, this DarkState situation ain’t over. Saquon says that he needs to find some friends, but he knows that he’s made enemies in that NXT Locker Room over the past year. He’s going to have shake hands, hug some babies, show the world that he’s changed and hope that they believe him. But no matter who Saquon finds, DarkState is going to find out one thing, Saquon is up next, they’re up never, and it don’t get sweeter than that.

– We see Tate Wilder talking to Kam Hendrix in the trainer’s room. Wilder says that NARAKU is wild, he’s a little bit out there, and he doesn’t like his methods. If Tony is still healing and Naraku wants to get crazy, Wilder is down. Wilder will be facing Naraku face next week. Hendrix tells Wilder good luck, because Naraku is going to slice his ass. Hendrix says that he would duck and dodge everything Naraku threw at him. Thanks to Mason Rook, Hendrix’s right knee meter is at 72.8%. Hendrix says that Rook is cooked when he gets 100%. Mason Rook joins the conversation. Rook wants to know why Hendrix keeps going around telling everybody that he put him on the shelf. Rook says that if he wanted to put Hendrix on the shelf, he wouldn’t get back up. Hendrix calls Wilder a traitor, because he was backing up Rook in this conversation.
– We see Nattie talking to Nikkita Lyons and Karmen Petrovic in the locker room. Being the lowkey legend that she is, having this title match with Kendal Grey means so much to her. Nattie points out that Layla Diggs has the biggest match of her career coming up next, is she ready? Layla thanks Nattie for the opportunity, and she’s totally ready. With that being said, Nattie wants Lyons and Petrovic to accompany Layla to the ring tonight. Layla appreciates that, but she’s going to do this on her own. Nattie says that she’s going to let that breathe. Lyons and Petrovic reassured Nattie that they’ll go down to the ring with her for tonight’s main event.

Tavion Heights, The Vanity Project, Myles Borne Segment
Tavion Heights: Look, I wasn’t gonna come out here, but I was sitting backstage and I was just thinking about all the things that I said before The Great American Bash. And look, I’ve been a bad brother, but I’m man enough to admit when I’m wrong. Now, it’s no secret, I can be cocky, I can be arrogant, but that’s only because I know I have what it takes to be great. Now, when I came through those doors in NXT three years ago, as a former Olympian, well, I believed I was the baddest man in any room that I walked in, I believed that. But this place humbled me, and I have not accomplished the heights that I want to reach yet. So, when I saw Myles having all of this success, yeah, it made me jealous. I saw Myles climbing, and I saw me being forgotten, which is my biggest fear. And I let that blind me. So, with that being said, I’ve come out here tonight to apologize to Myles, man-to-man.
Jackson Drake: Wait, wait, wait, wait. How about we start with apologizing to the guy you screwed over, a few weeks ago?
Brad Baylor: Facts on facts. And honestly, Robert Stone should apologize to Dorian Van Dux and Sean Legacy, for really letting those boys think that they got a shot at these NXT Tag Team Titles, that is ridiculous. He set those boys up for failure.
Ricky Smokes: For real, two wins, and now those guys think they have a chance against The Vanity Project? Come on. But hey, it’s just another title defense to put on the resume, boys.
Brad Baylor: Smokes, the list is getting longer, bro.
Jackson Drake: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Tavion, Myles lowkey, genuinely handed you a shot at the North American Championship on a silver platter and you still fumbled the bag. There’s no coming back from that, bro. And by the way, I think you have a little bit of trouble finding your way back to the top, considering your biggest and most legitimate victory was a total fluke. Yes, yes, yes. And while we’re on the subject, everyone and their mother knows you would have never beaten Jackson Drake if it weren’t for the help from Myles. And if that was me in that championship match, I sure as hell wouldn’t have pulled a Tavion Heights.
Tavion Heights: So why are we talking about hypotheticals then? If you want to get a rematch, we can do that whenever you like, because the results are going to be the same, Jackson. And I’ll show you exactly why I’m the most dangerous thing walking, the peak performer, a weapon in human form.

– We see Noam Dar talking to Romeo Moreno in the social lounge area. Moreno is still giddy over pushing Fraxiom to their limits. Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux walk by. Moreno tells Noam that they could be just like Legacy and Dux, they had one more together and they’re now one win away from becoming NXT Tag Team Champions. Noam says that Legacy and Dux have known each other for a very long time. They need to get know each other so well, that they know what the other is thinking at any moment. Legacy tells Moreno that it takes time to develop chemistry. Legacy and Dux bicker with each other about how they’re going to be pronounced as the new NXT Tag Team Champions.
Fourth Match: Shiloh Hill vs. Niko Vance w/Izzi Dame
Hill starts things off with a Tilt-A-Whirl Slam after the bell rings for a two count. Hill sends Vance to the corner. Vance kicks Hill in the face. Vance with forearm shivers. Vance uppercuts Hill.
