This week’s live edition of WWE NXT drew 670,000 viewers on the USA Network, according to Nielsen via Showbuzz Daily.
This is down 6.42% from last week’s 716,000 viewers for the post-Halloween Havoc show.
Tuesday’s NXT drew a 0.13 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. This is down 13.33% from last week’s 0.15 rating in the key demo. The 0.13 rating represents 170,000 18-49 viewers, which is down 13.26% from the 196,000 18-49 viewers that last week’s 0.15 key demo rating represented, according to Wrestlenomics.
NXT ranked #22 on the Cable Top 150 this week with the 0.13 rating in the 18-49 key demographic. This is down from last week’s #19 ranking on cable.
NXT ranked #46 in viewership on cable this week. This is down from last week’s #45 viewership ranking on cable.
Tuesday’s NXT drew the eleventh-highest total audience of the year so far, and the fourth-highest key demo rating of the year so far for USA Network airings, tied with nine other episodes. Sports competition last night included two NBA games on TNT, one NHL game on ESPN, College Football on ESPN2, UEFA on TUDN, plus the MLB World Series on FOX broadcast TV and FOX Deportes. This week’s NXT viewership was down 6.42% from last week, while the key demo rating was down 13.33% from last week.
This week’s NXT viewership was up 6.18% from the episode that aired one year ago, while the 18-49 key demo rating was down 13.33% with the show that aired one year ago. The 2021 show was the post-Halloween Havoc episode.
The NBA game between the Bulls and the Nets on TNT at 7:35pm topped the night in the 18-49 demographic on the Cable Top 150 with a 0.48 rating, also drawing 1.260 million viewers. The Five on FOX News topped the night on cable in viewership with 3.639 million viewers, also drawing a 0.18 key demo rating for the #14 spot on the Cable Top 150.
The MLB World Series on FOX topped the night on network TV in viewership with an average of 11.162 million viewers. The MLB World Series also topped the night on network TV in the 18-49 key demo with a 2.60 rating.
This week’s NXT show was a live episode from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, with the following line-up advertised ahead of time – Vic Joseph’s interview with The Schism, Odyssey Jones’ in-ring return, Thea Hail vs. Kiana James, R-Truth vs. Grayson Waller, NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose celebrating 1 year since her title win, and NXT Champion Bron Breakker’s first appearance since Halloween Havoc. The main event ended up being NXT Tag Team Champions Pretty Deadly retaining over Breakker and NXT North American Champion Wes Lee.
