According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE is potentially planning on filming this week’s Friday Night SmackDown from a secret location in a shutdown state. The company concluded their rounds of tapings from the WWE Performance Center at the tail end of March, which included several episodes of SmackDown, Raw, NXT, both nights of WrestleMania, and the Raw and NXT after Mania.
Reports were that WWE originally planned to concluded tapings from the Performance Center but Florida Governor Ron DeSantis issuing a statewide stay-at-home order due to the COVID-19 once again forced WWE to change plans. As of this writing, 46 states have shutdown all nonessential businesses. The four that haven’t entirely shutdown are North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Arkansas.
