WWE Reportedly Tapes “Major Match” for WWE SmackDown

WWE reportedly taped a “major match” during Tuesday’s WWE SmackDown tapings, according to Fightful Select.

It was noted that this match was the final bout in the tournament for the vacant WWE Intercontinental Title, but the participants were not spoiled.

The tournament semifinals will take place during tonight’s SmackDown on FOX with Daniel Bryan vs. Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles vs. Elias. The winners of each match will go on to the finals to air next week, which was apparently taped on Tuesday.

It was noted that the match was said to be “unbelievable” and so good that it provided a jolt of excitement to the trainees who had been in the crowd as “fans” for another long day of tapings.

Sound off in the comments below – who do you think will make it to the finals?
