NXT champion Adam Cole issued a short statement on Twitter last night basking in his career accomplishments, and calling himself the leader of this generation. The Undisputed Era leader writes, “I’m the longest reigning PWG World Champion…the only 3-Time ROH World Champion…& now the longest reigning NXT Champion…say hello to the leader of this generation.”
Cole is on day 347 of his NXT championship reign, a title he won from Johnny Gargano at the NXT Takeover 25 pay per view. Besides Gargano, Cole is the only superstar to have carried every belt on the yellow-and-black brand.
