*REBRAND* LordsofPain.net was rebranded to WrestlingHeadlines.com at the beginning of April 2020. We (LordsofPain) have owned the WrestlingHeadlines.com domain name since the year 2000, and never did anything with the domain other than using it as a forwarder. The reason for the rebranding is to better reflect the content that we publish.

OWNER

  • Calvin MartinI am the founder and owner of Lords of Pain, now Wrestling Headlines. I have been watching wrestling since the age of 10 in 1984 when I first discovered NWA World Championship Wrestling on TBS. Most of my day to day duties for this website are a behind the scenes role. Largely helping the news writers scout potential stories and making sure we are current with the daily news cycle in a timely manner. When I am not busy watching wrestling or managing this website, I spend most of my free time kayaking, fishing or watching San Francisco Giants baseball. You can contact me at [email protected] or send me a DM to my personal Twitter below.

NEWS

  • Joey G.Joey is a Chicago based actor and circus performer. For the last four years he's had the pleasure of covering pro-wrestling/MMA for multiple outlets, and interviewing talents from WWE, AEW, MLW, ROH, IMPACT, UFC and more.
  • Tim RoseMy name is Tim Rose. I've been writing about wrestling since high school. I've worked for Wrestling Headlines (formerly Lords of Pain) for over a year now. My work can be seen on Cracked, Modern Rogue, WhatCulture, and Movie Pilots. In my free time, I make videos for my personal YouTube channel, Nerd Outbreak. I've basically never been published. Ever. But I have written my name on the inside of the cover of a book just in case it got lost, and that’s basically the same thing. I'm a life long wrestling fan, nerd extraordinaire, former pizza delivery driver and I’m sorry ladies but I'm also married.

COLUMNISTS

  • Andrew ArdizziAndrew Ardizzi is an experienced editor with a background in print journalism, having worked at Metro News Canada as a copy editor and the Toronto Star as a content editor. Although currently working in the legal editorial field, he has written and contributed to publications and sites with focuses on comic books, MMA, automotive aftermarkets and community-based businesses. Recently he joined Wrestling Headlines as a columnist, contributing "Between the Flips & Fists" every Monday. He also makes poor life choices, as he pursued print journalism, and believed mixing several blends of leftover coffee grounds into one container would taste good (it didn't). A fan of pro wrestling since late 1986, he loves and follows a wide swathe of promotions, including WWE, AEW, NWA, NJPW, Impact and ROH, and counts the Randy Savage-Ricky Steamboat feud as his earliest wrestling memory.
  • Aaron HydenMarried man. Father. Loco Moco enthusiast. You may remember me from my time writing for this site (in its LordsOfPain days) from 2008-2014. You may also remember me from that one time. You 'member? You 'member. If I'm not doing things, I'm probably doing other things, but only most of the time.
  • Sam BrownI'm the man behind Sir Sam, Wrestling Headlines' token Aussie. I've been writing about cycling, MMA and pro wrestling online for ten years and have been on Wrestling Headlines since 2017. I discovered wrestling in my first year of uni and quickly fell under its spell. Outside of wrestling I love getting outside with my wife and daughter and a nice whiskey at the end of the day.

PODCASTERS

  • Maple Leaf Wrestling History PodcastAn aspiring self proclaimed 'wannabe historian'. Currently 24 and described by my peers as a "good guy". You'll find my content to be quite original, very interesting, peppered with coarse language and obscure references, and above all else - historically accurate!
