OWNER

  • Calvin MartinI am the founder and owner of Lords of Pain, now Wrestling Headlines. I have been watching wrestling since the age of 10 in 1984 when I first discovered NWA World Championship Wrestling on TBS. Most of my day to day duties for this website are a behind the scenes role. Largely helping the news writers scout potential stories and making sure we are current with the daily news cycle in a timely manner. When I am not busy watching wrestling or managing this website, I spend most of my free time kayaking, fishing or watching San Francisco Giants baseball. You can contact me at lopcalvin@gmail.com or send me a DM to my personal Twitter below.

COLUMNISTS

  • Andrew ArdizziAndrew is a lifelong wrestling fan whose first wrestling memory is Randy Savage and Ricky Steamboat's feud over the WWF Intercontinental title. He will watch any wrestling he can get his eyes on, whether it's from classic or more contemporary promotions. He's also a big fan of Japanese puro, and was especially happy to find dedicated YouTube channels to old AJPW, Noah, and AJW matches. He has a background in print journalism with an undergrad in political science. He's written and edited for a number of publications ranging from the Toronto Star/Star Metro, the auto sector, community-focused lifestyle magazines, comics, legal content and wrestling. He's also an avid gamer and plays both single player and online games (...and a lot of Tetris). He's currently mostly playing Street Fighter 6 and is trying to reach Master level with Cammy, Ken, Ed and Sagat.
  • Aaron HydenMarried man. Father. Loco Moco enthusiast. You may remember me from my time writing for this site (in its LordsOfPain days) from 2008-2014. You may also remember me from that one time. You 'member? You 'member. If I'm not doing things, I'm probably doing other things, but only most of the time.
  • LWO4Life I've been a lifelong wrestling fan since 1985. As a child, I grew up loving the WWF, but quickly found other wrestling companies like the NWA/WCW, the AWA, and WCCW. Over time I have seen wrestling grow and succeed. It's now mainstream, and people are no longer ashamed to say they are wrestling fans, but rather people right away ask who your favorite wrestler was growing up. This is the type of world I love living in.
  • Tim RoseMy name is Tim Rose. I've been writing about wrestling since high school. I've worked for Wrestling Headlines (formerly Lords of Pain) for over a year now. My work can be seen on Cracked, Modern Rogue, WhatCulture, and Movie Pilots. In my free time, I make videos for my personal YouTube channel, Nerd Outbreak. I've basically never been published. Ever. But I have written my name on the inside of the cover of a book just in case it got lost, and that’s basically the same thing. I'm a life long wrestling fan, nerd extraordinaire, former pizza delivery driver and I’m sorry ladies but I'm also married.
