Moxley tosses Esfinge into the guard rail and we go to PIP. Double stomp to Star and the BCC are now making quick tags in their corner. Monkey flip by Esfinge out of the corner to Claudio and an Indian Death Lock combination by Esfinge for two. Spinning tornillo suicide dive by Star. King Kong Lariat by Moxley and a majistral cradle for two. Elbows traded back and forth and a rising knee by Esfinge. Punt by Moxley to Star and some hammer and anvil elbows. Straight arm bar by Moxley and Star taps.

Winners: Blackpool Combat Club

Rating: ***. Strong win here for the BCC. Star and Esfinge were not on the level of Mistico, Hechicero, and Volador, however.

Moxley says any team that wants to step up will get stepped on.

Enter FTR! Top Guys… in. All four men brawl as the referees and security guards try to pull everyone apart!

Match #2. Daniel Garcia w/ Matt Menard vs. Shane Taylor w/ Lee Moriarty

Garcia tries a waist lock to no avail. Taylor misses a big right hand and Garcia locks up an arm, but Taylor makes it to the ropes. Shoulder block by Taylor. Taylor looks for Welcome to the Land but Garcia goes low with a dropkick to the leg. Back body drop by Taylor but he misses a leg drop. Straight ankle lock by Garcia and Taylor taps!

Winner: Daniel Garcia

Rating: **3/4. This match didn’t have enough time to hit that next gear, but it’s great to see a wrestlers gameplan pay off in the finish. Good stuff, here.

Eddie Kingston is with Lexi Nair. Kingston says Danielson has finally gotten under his skin, and he challenges him to a match at Full Gear. When Kingston wins, Danielson has to shake his hand.

Match #3. Brian Cage vs. The OutRunners

Running European uppercut and an enziguiri by Cage. Release German suplex and in comes Turbo Floyd. Double suplex by Cage to The OutRunners. Discus lariat (king of) to Magnum. Powerbomb to Floyd and a standing Texas Cloverleaf. Floyd taps.

Winner: Brian Cage

Rating: NR

After the match, Cage levels Chance, the Vegas Golden Knights mascot.

SEND. HOOK.

Both guys brawl on the ramp now as the fight spills to the back and referee’s attempt to break it up.

Lexi Nair is with The Undisputed Kingdom and Tomohiro Ishii. Taven reminds us he used to be in CHAOS before he hurt is knee, but nobody called him. Strong says if Ishii beats Cassidy, he wants him at Revolution.

Adam Copeland is here with Tony Schiavone. Tony says Copeland is number 3 in the rankings and that gives him the choice of the International or TNT Championship (this is a new wrinkle, and I like this). Copeland says if he was there at Dynamite, The Bucks wouldn’t have gotten away with what they did to Sting and Darby. Copeland warns The Bucks. Copeland says one day he’ll wrestle Kingston, and Orange Cassidy is busy… but there’s still Christian Cage. Copeland thinks we know where he’s leaning.

Here’s… Daniel Garcia?

Garcia says it sounds like Copeland deserves a title shot, but so does he. Garcia doesn’t mean any disrespect, and when he beat The Patriarchy last week, he thought maybe he deserves a title shot. Garcia worries maybe he’ll do the Garcia thing and lose the big one, but he’ll keep fighting to the front of the line a million times to get gold. Copeland reminds us that Garcia didn’t beat The Patriarchy by himself, but FTR speaks highly of him so he respects him. Copeland says they fight each other, and the last man standing gets Christian. Garcia accepts and both guys shake hands. Copeland pulls him in close and says the only reason he’s not taking his face off is because Garcia already wrestled tonight, but he’s going to beat his ass next week.

Renee is here with Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale… and Stokely Hathaway. Stokely says that Julia Hart and Skye Blue shop at Hot Topic and listen to Evanescence. Willow wants a tag match, and Stokely will work on it… but Tony Khan has blocked him so he’s got to borrow someone’s phone.

Match #4. Brody King w/ Julia Hart vs. Mark Briscoe

Hard chops by Briscoe but King just beils him all the way across the ring. Cannonball by King. Hammer throws now by Brody and a sidewalk slam. Briscoe pulls King to the apron and drops him neck first. Baseball slide by Briscoe and a running Blockbuster off the apron! Briscoe sets a chair up in the ring and uses it to spring off of and on to the floor, on top of King! Briscoe looks for a table under the ring and finds one, but the referee puts a stop to it. Plancha on the far side by Briscoe but King catches him and powerslams him in the corner of the guard rail, on top of an unfolded chair! Hard hammer throws now as King is in control throughout the PIP. Boots in the corner by King before pulling Briscoe out into a powerbomb. Hard chops by King and a Bossman Slam gets two. Briscoe fires back sith some hard right hands and a running boot in the corner. Mounted punches by Briscoe now, before sending King to the floor with a big boot. Briscoe with a twisting monsault to the floor! Running lariat by Briscoe back inside the ring but King blocks a piledriver. Unbelievable srong lariat by King! Two count. Ganso Bomb is countered with some hard chops but Briscoe eats an elbow. King misses a charge and Briscoe hits the Spiccoli Driver! Froggy Bow but Julia Hart provides the distraction! King gets on the far side and pushes Briscoe off the top and to the floor, through a table! Ganso Bomb back inside the ring!

Winner: Brody King

Rating: ***1/2. Yes I’m probably overrating this but what we got was great. Two of my favorites right now and these guys could have benefitted from about another 15 minutes. Just tremendous, hard-hitting stuff here.

After the match, King holds Briscoe and Julia Hart stabs him with a spike! Briscoe is a bloody mess as King stands tall.

Match #5. Deonna Purrazzo vs. Kiera Hogan

Both women trade arm ringers until Hogan trips Purrazzo on to the middle rope. Running hip attack by Hogan. Hogan heads up top but Purrazzo brings her back in the ring hard, landing on her shoulder and arm. Purrazzo now focuses the attack on the arm with a few leg drops and a straitjacket. Hogan reverses into one of her own, momentarily, as Purrazzo counters into a Backstabber. Two count. Hogan hits the rope but runs into a pump kick. Superkick by Hogan. Facebuster by Purrazzzo gets two. Hogan gets a boot up in the corner and comes off the middle rope with a shotgun dropkick. Purrazzo ducks a clothesline, responds with a boot and a Russian Leg Sweep, before finishing this one with the Venus de Milo.

Winner: Deonna Purrazzo

Rating: *3/4. This was fine, building more momentum for Purrazzo.

After the match, Toni Storm’s music hits, as she parades right past Purrazzo and into the ring for her match.

Match #6. Toni Storm w/ Mariah May & Luther vs. Queen Aminata

Arm drag and a top wrist lock by Storm, but Aminata reverses into a roll up and gets two. Headlock takeover by Storm but Aminata head scissors herself out. Thesz Press and some mounted punches by Storm as we go to PIP. Hair toss by Storm and a Full Nelson as we go to commercial. Back from break and Storm charges for a running hip attack but Aminata cradles her for two. Lariat by Aminata and both women are down. Snap suplex by Aminata and a running PK. Two count. Storm is up and counters with a DDT for two. Storm looks for a piledriver but Aminata hoists her up and drops her with an Air Raid Crash! Long two count. Aminata misses a hip attack in the corner and Storm responds with one of her own! Stuck piledriver and this one is over.

Winner: Toni Storm

Rating: **1/4. This one was quick as well, but it was hard-hitting once we got back from commercial. Aminata’s offense continues to look good, and she’s getting a lot of reps.

Afte the match, Storm tells Tony Schiavone to stop looking at her like that. Storm will be releasing a brand new film this week, called Wet Ink. Deonna can try her fancy maneuvers, but the pain of not being so much as a wart on Storm’s butthole will haunt her for life. Welp, there’s that.

No Collision next week due to the NBA All Star Weekend. Weak.

Match #7. AEW International Championship: Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Tomohiro Ishii

Pocket hands, baby. Kip up by Cassidy but a big shoulder block by Ishii. Cassidy rolls to the outside and Ishii follows, and now back in the ring Cassidy delivers a pair of shoulder blocks that eventually drop Ishii. Cassidy tries some elbows but Ishii doesn’t care, and he walks through them. Ishii backs Cassidy up to the opposite corner, and Cassidy accepts his fate as Ishii chops the skin off of him. COME ONNNNN says Ishii. Cassidy gets sent to the far corner and goes up and over to the apron, but Ishii doesn’t care, and he brings him in the hard way with a suplex. Ishii in control throughout PIP, looking for a suplex, but Cassidy counters into Stundog Millionaire (kinda). Satellite DDT by Cassidy and a suicide dive on the outside. Another Satellite DDT back inside the ring! Two count. Cassidy goes up top and SPIKES Ishii with a diving DDT! 2.99! Ishii retreats to the corner and Cassidy delivers some Orange kicks and stomps, and then a superkick. Running dropkick to a seated Ishii in the corner. Cassidy hits the corner but Ishii follows with a lariat. Big elbow by Cassidy and a superkick. Ishii pops up and runs through Cassidy with a big pounce. Elbows by Cassidy but again, Ishii eats them and delivers a knockout blow to Cassidy! Two count. Ishii sets up Cassidy on the top rope and brings him in with a delayed superplex for a long two. Ishii looks for a powerbomb but can’t, so he settles for a German suplex. Chop by Ishii but Cassidy calls for more! These are legit like frying pans to the chest. Cassidy collapses and Ishii doesn’t know what to do. Powerbomb by Ishii but he misses the sliding lariat and Cassidy gets a crucifix for two. Beach Break attempt by Cassidy but he settles for a roll up for another two. Sunset flip gets two. Clothesline by Cassidy but Ishii headbutts him. Ishii charges but the Orange Punch out of nowhere! Beach Break! One, two, th– NO! Ishii is out! Orange Punch but Ishii counters with a Dragon Suplex. Cassidy is up but runs into a brutal lariat! Enziguiri by Ishii and a sliding lariat but Cassidy is out at two. Sheer drop brainbuster by Ishii but Cassidy escapes. Orange Punch! Ishii doesn’t go down! Headbutt by Ishii! Ishii wants a brainbuster but Cassidy cradles him and gets the win!

Winner and STILL AEW International Champion: Orange Cassidy

Rating: ****1/4. Yep, you guessed it. This ruled. Ishii. Cassidy. Yeah. Cassidy was able to take everything Ishii threw at him and kept looking for the pin late, telling a really good story here. Cassidy’s insane International Championship reign continues.

After the match, the Undisputed Kingdom hit the ring. Spike piledriver on Cassidy! Ishii returns to the ring to make the save and Trent is here too.

Final Thoughts: The trend of strong shows for AEW continues, with a really entertaining episode of Collision. BCC vs. CMLL feud may be over, but BCC vs. FTR is just starting. Brody King and Mark Briscoe just beat the heck out of each other, stemming from Briscoe’s interference in the cage match a few weeks back. Deonna Purrazzo continues to be featured like a top contender, which is good because we’ve still got a few weeks until Revolution. The International Championship match delivered in the main event, as expected, and sets us up for a potential trios match next week. More good stuff tonight. 8.0/10.
