Alexa Bliss and Lana Weigh In On Ronda Rousey Calling Wrestling “Fake Fighting”

WWE women’s division stars Alexa Bliss and Lana took to Twitter earlier today to comment on Ronda Rousey’s recent interview on the Wild Ride! podcast, where the former Raw women’s champion referred to wrestling as “fake fighting.”

Lana reminds the MMA sensation turned wrestler that wrestlers like Paige and Tyson Kidd suffered serious injuries that forced them to retire from the ring. She writes, “I have NO WORDS for her audacity to save “fake fighting” !!!!!! If it’s fake why can’t @RealPaigeWWE & @TJWilson can’t wrestle anymore ?? If it is fake why couldn’t @EdgeRatedR wrestle for 11 years ???? This is a contact sport where REAL things happen!”

Alexa Bliss instead shares a clip of her WWE Network 365 special showing Rousey injuring her at a house event, a setback that caused Bliss to miss nearly a year of in-ring WWE action. She states, “Hm. Was out for almost a year. Must have been “ fake.”
