Former California Governor, movie star, and WWE Hall of Famer Arnold Schwarzenegger took to Instagram earlier today to pay tribute to Shad Gaspard, who tragically lost his life last week. Schwarzenegger commends Gaspard for being a hero in the bodybuilding word, and for making the ultimate sacrifice by saving his son when they were both swept in a tidal wave.
He writes, “On my bike ride today I stopped to pay respects to Shad Gaspard. He was such a positive force in the gym and the world. He was a hero in bodybuilding, a hero in wrestling, and the moment he told lifeguards to save his son first, the ultimate hero. My thoughts are with his family.”
