Veteran pro wrestler Eric Young will remain with Impact Wrestling at least through the end of this year.

Young returned to Impact in 2020 and has been a regular talent since then, even staying on TV while a knee injury kept him out of in-ring action. After his return, it was revealed that Young had signed a multi-year contract.

In an update, a new report from Fightful Select confirms that Young’s contract did not expire this past summer, which would have been the “multi-year” mark. It also did not expire after Bound For Glory earlier this month, and word now is that Young’s contract was extended through at least the end of 2022, putting him with the company until early 2023 unless another extension is signed.

On a related note, Crazzy Steve is also still under contract with Impact. Steve also signed a multi-year contract around the time Young did, and now it’s been confirmed that his deal is not expiring this year.

After being released by WWE on April 15, 2020, along with other budget cuts, Young returned to Impact at Slammiversary in July 2020, and became a two-time Impact World Champion that September. He has led the Violent By Design stable since the fall of 2020. VBD has held the Impact World Tag Team Titles twice.

Steve first worked for Impact between April 2014 and April 2017, but returned in April 2020 and has been there ever since.

As noted earlier today, Chris Bey has signed a new multi-year contract with Impact. This comes after the recent Bound For Glory Weekend departures of Mia Yim, Matt Taven, Maria Kanellis, Mike Bennett, and Vincent.
