Booker T gave his thoughts on various topics on his latest Hall Of Fame podcast.
During it, the WWE Hall Of Famer talked about Sting announcing his retirement match at Revolution next year.
“Hey, bro, I’m glad for him. I’m glad he’s finally going to hang it up and be able to move on to what’s next. At 65, by the end, right? It’s mixed emotions because I think his retiring will be great, but I think it’s something that’s well overdue to have done this thing your whole life. And then, when you walk away from it. It’s hard to walk. I’m gonna tell you right now. He might not want to retire. He might want to just say, man, I’m just, you know, ain’t going to say I’m ever going to retire. I might just want to walk away and leave the business. But retired, I wouldn’t. I wouldn’t say that because I’m telling you right now, sitting at home. Become an old man. Hag, receding. It could get real. Real. It could get lonely, man. I say stay in the ring. Don’t quit. Don’t ever quit. You know that’s what wrestlers do [laughs]. That’s me. That’s my opinion on that.”
