During his Hall Of Fame Podcast, Booker T spoke on Jim Ross having heat with wrestlers while VP of talent due to the low downside guarantee offers he would make. Booker T went on to clarify that he never took issue with how JR went about his business. Here’s what he had to say:
JR always treated me fair, and the opportunity was, ‘Hey man, you can make as much as you want to make, but this is your downside. This is not like WCW.’ I understood that.
