Last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite saw Brodie Lee, along with his Dark Order faction, attack world champion Jon Moxley and steal his AEW title. Lee would take to Twitter following an AEW tweet showing that he was in possession of the physical belt even after the show went off the air.
He writes, “Actually I have it.”
Prior to his matchup on tonight’s episode of Dynamite against Christopher Daniels, Lee had the ring announcer introduce him as the “self-proclaimed” AEW world champion. Check it out below.
Lee would go on to defeat Daniels after connecting with his discus lariat finisher. Moxley would return to fight off the Dark Order, but he wasn’t able to take his title back. He faces 10 on next week’s show.
