WWE champion Drew McIntyre took to his Twitter earlier today to comment on the ongoing sexual abuse, assault, and harassment allegations made against members of the pro-wrestling community, including those from the UK scene. The Scottish Psychopath lends his support to all the victims who are speaking up, and hopes that their stories will force a change in the landscape of the business.
The champ writes, “For those #SpeakingOut, thank you. Your voices are heard, your bravery is inspiring and is forcing a positive change that will shape the landscape of this business for generations to come.”
Names on the list of those accused include WWE’s Matt Riddle, Travis Banks, Jordan Devlin, Ligero, Sid Scala, Wolfgang, Tyler Bate, Trent Seven, and Jack Gallagher, who was released by WWE on Friday.
