According to Fightful, WWE Hall of Famer Edge sustained an injury during the taping of tonight’s “Greatest Match Ever” against Randy Orton at Backlash. Reports are that the R-Rated superstar damaged his triceps, and will most likely be out for a few months. Fortunately his neck, which was the reason he was forced to retire back in 2011, is not the cause of him being shelved.
The bout was filmed last week from the WWE Performance Center. The rest of tonight’s Backlash pay per view will air live.
