Eric Bischoff Discusses The Time His Wife Posed For Playboy and if WCW Women Were Approached

Eric Bischoff recently discussed the time his wife posed for a “Hottest Housewives” edition of Playboy. Loree Bischoff was 43-years-old and a mother at two at the time. She had been modeling since she was a child. As a child she posed for Play-Doh.

“It was when the Housewives shows were hot and Playboy was looking for America’s hottest housewives, I don’t know how she saw the ad or became aware of it but she saw the ad and said what the hell, I’ll send in a couple pictures from her portfolio,” Bischoff recalled. “She did it, and I thought it was cool and we were excited about it and proud of it. When the magazine came out, Hugh Hefner had a big party in L.A. and we got to experience that Playboy lifestyle for a minute.”

Bischoff adds that it wasn’t his department to speak with Playboy on behalf of WCW.

“I don’t really know. I wouldn’t have been involved with it, that’s not something that would have fallen on my plate in WCW. I was aware of it certainly, but I don’t think WCW drove that initiative but I’m sure there was some contact.”

Loree was once asked by ABC about how her children felt about her posing for the magazine which at the time featured women naked. She answered that it was an awkward conversation to initiate, but surprisingly it was her daughter, not her son, that had the biggest problem with it:

“She is like: ‘Well it is the most respectful magazine.’ And I was like: ‘Yes, Mom, it is, but you are also going to have people not looking at it respectfully.'”
