EVOLVE Wrestling is ceasing all operations according to the PW Torch.
Company VP Gabe Sapolsky reportedly alerted his staff and roster in a private Facebook message that the promotion has zero plans to run any future events at this time due to the COVID-19 outbreak that drastically changed the pro-wrestling landscape.
EVOLVE’s parent company WWN will continue to operate, with the rumors of WWE purchasing the promotion being untrue. The two companies had been working together quite a bit, with NXT and WWE stars constantly appearing at EVOLVE events, and their 10th Anniversary special airing on the WWE Network.
At this time…there has been no official announcement from EVOVLE or WWE regarding this issue. Stay tuned.
