On tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, former NWA superstar Ricky Starks made his promotional debut by accepting Cody Rhodes’ TNT championship open challenge. Starks was a breakout star on the NWA’s new Youtube episodic Powerrr, where he was a one-time NWA Television champion.
Prior to the bout, Starks had a special vignette released, which you can watch below.
Starks announced his free agency one month ago. He would put up a nice showing on Dynamite, but was unable to defeat the American Nightmare for the TNT championship.
