According to Showbuzz Daily, last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown drew an average of 2.016 million viewers overnight, a rise of 1.6% from last week’s show. They scored a 0.5 rating in the always important 18-49 demographic, which won the night in that category.
The program finished 8th overall behind Shark Tank, 20/20, MacGyver, Blue Bloods, World of Dance, Dateline NBC, and Magnum P.I. Magnum P.I. finished first with just over 4 million viewers.
The show was headlined by AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan in the tournament finals to crown a new Intercontinental champion. Styles would win the bout, and has now captured every main roster singles-title in WWE.
Full ratings will be out Monday.
