Go-Home Edition Of WWE SmackDown Sees Rise In Overnight Viewership

According to Showbuzz Daily, last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown drew an average of 2.168 million viewers, an increase of 8.3% from the previous week’s show. They scored a rating of 0.6 in the always important 18-49 demographic, which was once again #1 for the evening. The blue-brand debuted the new Thunderdome concept, a move that has been critically hailed as improving the product. It also featured the return of the Vince McMahon character, who was announced prior to the show beginning.

Overall the program finished 7th in total viewership behind Shark Tank, 20/20, MacGyver, Magnum P.I., Dateline NBC and Blue Bloods, which won the night at 4.011 million viewers.

Full ratings will be out on Monday.
