Los Ingobernables member Hiromu Takahashi defeated El Desperado to capture his second BOSJ trophy in the last three years. This means he will challenge for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight championship at next months WrestleKingdom 15 pay per view, which is currently held by the Bullet Club’s Taiji Ishimori.
Meanwhile…the Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa) defeated last year’s winners David Finlay and Juice Robinson to capture the World Tag League trophy, and earn themselves an IWGP tag team championship matchup at WrestleKingdom against Taichi and Zack Sabre Jr. Tama Tonga would later take to Twitter and write, “What a time to be alive! Your 2020 World Tag League Winners.”
