Michael Elgin Backstage Interview

Michael Elgin, Moose and Hernandez In-Ring Segment

Michael Elgin: Tessa says that she’s stuck in Mexico, but I think she bit off a little more than she could chew. And Eddie, Eddie already started to realize that after a best of five with Big Mike, he didn’t want anymore, so he’s not here either. So, I think the only fitting thing to do is to wait. Get a ref out here, come on. Get out here, we need a referee. He’s gonna raise my hand and you’re gonna announce me as the new IMPACT World Champion.

Moose: You see, I understand your pain. You worked your ass off to get to this night, but you don’t have an opponent. Eddie Edwards couldn’t be in the impact zone. And Tessa Blanchard, she’s holding the IMPACT World Championship hostage over there in Mexico.

Michael Elgin: You’re right. It is under hostage because I stand here, like I’ve stood in the ring time and time again, being the best wrestler on the planet, being the best wrestler in Impact Wrestling and that Impact Championship is mine.

Moose: I understand that, but that will be the last time you cut me off when i’m talking. Like I was saying, before you say anything.

Michael Elgin: Are you saying I shouldn’t cut you off?

Moose: Funny guy. Before you say there isn’t a world champion in the building, take a look at what I have around my waist, the TNA Heavyweight Championship.

Michael Elgin: Wait, wait, wait, while I was out here just like you said busting my ass, you were running down the letters, TNA. See, I don’t like many people, but I can respect the history of those letters. But the fact is, those letters are now, Impact. So, if you want to laugh, take it back to the mid-card with your comedy act because i’m here to be declared, world champion.

Moose: There’s nothing mid-card about me, Elgin. I’m the franchise player of Impact Wrestling. I’m Mr. Impact Wrestling. And while you was having a little play date with Eddie Edwards the last few weeks, I’ve been conquering every single wrestler who’s stepped into TNA. But Elgin, how about this? Instead of you out here complaining like a little bitch, if you want a piece of this title, all you have to do is ask, Elgin.

Michael Elgin: I’m not gonna ask. I’m gonna beat you.

Hernandez: You see, Moose, you like to run your mouth about how you beat up all the guys from TNA. You see, where I come from, if you want to be a world champion, you beat somebody. So if you guys want to stop playing make believe, maybe, you should fight. But guess what? There ain’t no fight without The SuperMex.
