Johnny Impact & Fenix In-Ring Segment:

Wrestling is a crazy business, but that’s what he loves about wrestling since he was a kid.  He begged his dad to take him to wrestling shows. lmpact always been the kind of guy to go for it when he wants something. He did a lot of things that people thought were dumb, but he’s proud of them because he did them. Everyone who dreams of becoming a wrestler wants to become a World Champion, and he’s gotten close and been told he has the look to be a champion, and he has the potential, but that it was never his night.

Impact almost believed it, but now, he’s got the title, and everything he’s worked for has culminated in this, and the business is what we make it. Impact is the guy who won’t hide behind two goons and play backstage politics and tweet things because he knows he doesn’t have what it takes. He’ll give anyone who deserves a title shot what they want. Fenix comes out to interrupt Impact. Fenix congratulates Impact on his big victory.

Fenix has won championships around the world, except in Impact Wrestling. It’s an incredible opportunity to fight for his belt. Fenix wants a title shot for next week. Impact says it’s a good time to come out, because after he said all that stuff, he’s not going to say no. They’re friends, but they’ll both do what they have to in order to walk out with the title next week. No matter what happens, though, they’ll shake hands after the match because, unlike the ex-champion, they’re professionals. They’ll tear this place down next week because that’s what they do.

McKenzie Mitchell Backstage Interview With Tommy Dreamer:

What can we expect from Tommy Dreamer coming off the heels of Bound For Glory? You can expect the unexpected. Moose could go down as one of the greatest athletes to ever go from the NFL to Professional Wrestling. Wahoo McDaniel, Ernie Ladd, Bill Goldberg and Moose stepped up like no other athletes. Unfortunately Moose decided to take short cuts. Moose would do anything for success, but he didn’t get the job done. Moose and Kross lost at Bound For Glory.

Moose has to learn from those mistakes. As Dreamer got dumped on his head, he had to watch Moose take out Eddie Edwards. Dreamer’s vision was foggy, but he saw the pain Edwards went through. Dreamer lived with pain his entire life. Dreamer is going to kill Moose. Maybe Dreamer should go old school. Maybe he’ll pick up a chair and wrap around Moose’s dome. Moose can suffer a concussion like Dreamer did in the 90s. Concussion shouldn’t happen anymore, but Dreamer has never been politically correct, and he’s proud of it.

– Taya Valkyrie defeated Katarina in a singles match. Valkyrie still has no respect for Tessa Blanchard.

Ethan Page & Matt Sydal Backstage Segment:

Sydal is meditating. Sydal and Page are on a path to transcendence and enlightenment. Page is here to show the world a little bit of what they enjoy. It’s time to open third eyes. But sometimes that path is fraught with suffering and at Bound For Glory, they suffered defeat at the hands of Rich Swann and Willie Mack. In the back they discussed the Buddhist Four Noble Truths. The first one is life is suffering and they accepted that. Before Page met Sydal, he suffered a lot worse. The suffering at Bound For Glory wasn’t as painful because of Sydal. Page is in tune with himself. Suffering is your opportunity for growth and tonight Page can show the world what growth he achieved. Page will open Trevor Lee’s third eye. Page will show Lee how to suffer. Suffering is universal namaste.
