We reported recently that, according to WrestlingInc, Adam Cole’s contract was set to expire as soon as August. Some people were in doubt that he’d re-sign with WWE in the end, but if he did, he’d be moved up to the main roster. There was a “Free Adam Cole” hashtag trending over the weekend of people hoping Cole wouldn’t stay with WWE.
New reports from PWinsider are saying that Adam Cole has around 18 more months left of his contract which would make the original report wrong by over a year.
Britt Baker, Adam Cole’s wife and current AEW wrestler, recently mentioned on a podcast that she’d like for Cole to join AEW in the future with his Elite friends.
