Jim Cornette was asked recently about Arn Anderson’s opinion on Sami Zayn as a future agent. Anderson said that Sami Zayn lacks the patience and creativity to ever be an agent. Cornette, who has been vocal in the past about not liking Zayn professionally, agreed with Anderson’s take. He had a little bit more to add on the topic:
“You can’t get this guy to stop arguing about what you’re going to have for lunch, to determine whether or not the whole group is going to starve or not. He’s on minute little details and he won’t fucking let go. He’s a pain in the ass. As an agent, my god, he’s an agent’s worst nightmare — because I’ve tried to manage him.”
Cornette did manage to throw in some compliments about his work. In the past, he’s talked about enjoying Zayn’s heel work and seeing potential in him, but his mouth was the problem. Cornette adds:
“You know, Sami Zyan is Indie-rific. He’s a great promo, as we’ve talked about. The fucking mute babyface luchador that I had suddenly becomes a classic heel promo, imagine that. He’s a great heel promo because he’s a fucking personable but annoying fucker in person. He comes off the indie scene where he had to die on every kill and didn’t understand why he and [Kevin Owens] weren’t getting all my praises.”
