AEW world champion Jon Moxley spoke about new title challenger Brian Cage on last night’s post-Double or Nothing media scrum, where the purveyor of violence commended AEW’s newest signee for being an exceptional athlete. Moxley also credits cage for having ECW legend Taz in his corner.
That’s a whole new can of worms. We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it. He’s an exceptional talent. I don’t know anything about him personally, or what his attitude is. He’s aligned with Taz, and everybody knows Taz’s personality. If he’s anything as a manager like he was as a competitor, you know it’s going to be an aggressive situation. We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.
Moxley and Cage are set to meet at the upcoming Fyter Fest event. At this time…it is assumed the show will take place in Jacksonville due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
