Karl Anderson Fires Back at WWE Return Speculation

Former WWE Superstar Karl Anderson took to Twitter today and dismissed any rumors on he and Luke Gallows re-signing with WWE.

It’s been reported that WWE recently offered return deals, worth significantly lower money, to some of the wrestlers who were released back in mid-April as a part of the company-wide cuts brought on by COVID-19. Anderson responded to a fan who believes we will see The Good Brothers pull a swerve and return to WWE soon.

“Absolutely Fucking Not. Quote that. Dumb ass,” Anderson fired back at the speculation.

Anderson also responded to a WWE tweet on AJ Styles and The Undertaker to promote The Last Ride, and wrote, “July 18, 2020”

July 15 is the day that Anderson, Gallows and several other WWE Superstars will see their 90-day non-compete clauses expire with WWE, making them free to sign with whoever they want to. July 18 is the day that the Impact Slammiversary pay-per-view will be held, which they have been teased for, and also the apparent date where they will release a new episode of their podcast.

As we’ve noted, it’s believed that Gallows and Anderson will sign with New Japan Pro Wrestling, and then work for another promotion here in the United States in between NJPW tours, such as Impact Wrestling. Their post-WWE plans have not been confirmed as of this writing.
