Former WWE star Maria Kanellis recently said in an interview with WrestleTalk that she wished she could have feuded with Paige during her time with the company.
I always wanted to get into some kind of feud with Paige because I feel like we’d have some good back and forth. Obviously it’s terrible that she can’t wrestle anymore. I’m hoping one day she’s able to but I wanted that opportunity. It didn’t really matter who I managed because there’s so many fantastic women there, but for her to be a manager and me to be on the opposite side of it I just think would have been so much fun.
Paige saw Kanellis’ quotes and responded on Twitter with “I second this.”
Kanellis also named Paige to be the one person she would want to have a retirement match with.
