Mark Henry Thinks WWE WrestleMania 36 Will Do Big Numbers In Viewership

WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry spoke with TMZ Sports to discuss this weekend’s two-night WrestleMania 36 event. The former world champion predicts that despite COVID-19 forcing WWE to put the show on in front of zero fans, they will do large numbers in viewership due to people tuning in out of pure curiosity. He compares the situation to a recent live stream by rapper D-Nice, which had celebrity guests and garnered great viewership.

I’ve heard since this all started that while WrestleMania is going to take a big hit, and I was like ‘I don’t know. I think that enough people will tune in to watch and be a part of something that normally would not have. D-Nice, the rapper, did seven hours of a live social distancing party—Oprah was on there, Jay-Z, Diddy, all of these famous actors, and I went on. I just wanted to be a part of it because it was a historical moment. I think that WWE is going to do the same thing, just on a bigger level. He had 90,000 people on a little space on their phone watching him DJ. What can WrestleMania do in two days? Live streaming and watching the [WWE] Network there could be 200 million people watching.
