According to the Wrestling Observer, NXT superstar Matt Riddle is reportedly being called up to the main roster. The former tag team champion is scheduled to face Timothy Thatcher in a cage fight on Wednesday’s episode of NXT on USA, but there’s no indication whether it will be a blow-off to the feud, or a build-up to Riddle’s final bout for the yellow-and-black brand. WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle will be the special referee for the occasion.
