More Disturbing Details from Alberto Del Rio’s Recent Sexual Assault Arrest

As Joey noted before here on LOP, FOX San Antonio reported that former WWE Champion Jose A. Rodriguez Chucuan (Alberto Del Rio, Alberto El Patron) was arrested for sexually assaulting a woman and badly injuring her in the process. It was reported then that the incident took place on May 3 and the victim called the police the following day. Chucuan was taken into police custody on May 9 at 11am, and was later released on a $5,000 bond, meaning he had a $50,000 bail.

FOX San Antonio originally reported that the victim reported the incident as happening on Sunday, May 3 at 10pm local time. She alleged that Chucuan became angry with her and physically assaulted her after accusing her of infidelity. When the victim would not admit to the infidelity, Chucuan allegedly slapped her “across the head” several times. The victim also alleged that Chucuan “forced her to wear a dress and dance for him” and that when she refused that, he told her not to start crying because if she did, “he would take her son and drop him in the middle of the road somewhere.”

The arrest affidavit stated that the victim alleged Chucuan had sexually assaulted her and that she had her injuries documented with photographs. TMZ’s report noted that the attack began at around 10pm on May 3, and lasted for more than 16 hours, ending at around 2:30pm on May 4. The victim went to police that day and the responding officer reportedly saw bruises on her face, arms, legs and neck. The victim also alleged that Chucuan attempted to burn her passport, and smashed her laptop computer and cell phone. She also alleged that after Chucuan attacked her causing multiple injuries, the attack left her “feeling woozy and dizzy from the hits to her head.”

The FOX San Antonio report noted, “Police said Rodriguez Chucuan then tied the woman’s hands with boxing straps, put a sock in her mouth and sexually assaulted her for several hours, using various objects. According to investigators, he also punched her in the back during the assault, causing visible injuries. The victim told detectives she does not remember much after he placed his hand around her throat.”

The victim told police that she is afraid and plans to leave San Antonio as soon as she can.

Chucuan posted his $5,000 bond on Sunday at around 5:30pm local time. You can see his mugshot photo above. If found guilty, Chucuan is facing a minimum of 2 years for sexual assault under Texas law. He’s also facing a fine of up to $10,000.

Stay tuned for updates on the case.
