NBC has revealed their coronavirus-delayed game plan for the 2020-2021 TV season and it’s now been confirmed that The Rock’s “Young Rock” series is being held for a mid-season premiere.

This is an indication that “Young Rock” will premiere some time during the first few weeks of 2021. It was previously confirmed for a 2021 premiere.

Rock is an Executive Producer of the show through his Seven Bucks Productions company. Universal Television is also producing. Nahnatchka Khan and Jeff Chiang are writing the sitcom after previously working on “Fresh Off the Boat” together.
