New details on WWE releasing lead writer Chris DeJoseph have surfaced.
DeJoseph was not released as a cost cutting measure. There was a backstage incident between Vince McMahon and DeJoseph. There isn’t any details about what exactly happened yet, but the decision to let him go was made early Friday afternoon.
DeJoseph was rehired by WWE in December. It’s believed that a series of anti-AEW tweets caught someone in WWE management’s eye and the decision was made to bring him back.
