Several matches have been added to the line-up for next week’s New Year’s Evil edition of WWE NXT on the USA Network.

Pretty Deadly will run a three-team Gauntlet next Tuesday night and if they win, they will earn a shot at NXT Tag Team Champions The New Day.

Pretty Deadly had enough of The New Day ordering them to collect WWE memorabilia on this week’s show, and said they are tired of jumping through hoops for The New Day. Pretty Deadly offered to run a Gauntlet next week, to prove that they are the best. The New Day offered a title shot to the former champions if they can win next week. The three teams in the Gauntlet were not announced.

Tony D’Angelo vs. Donovan Dijak was also added to next week’s show.

Last week’s NXT saw Dijak abduct Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, which distracted Tony D and allowed NXT North American Champion Wes Lee the chance to retain. This week’s NXT featured a segment where Dijak had Stacks held hostage all week. Dijak then defeated Stacks in singles action while Tony D watched from ringside. Dijak went to attack after the match, but Tony made the save. Tony took the mic and called Dijak out for a match on next week’s show, promising to teach him about street justice. Dijak accepted. Lee later said he will be on commentary for the match, and he indicated that he will challenge the winner of D’Angelo vs. Dijak to a title match.

Charlie Dempsey vs. Hank Walker has also been announced for New Year’s Evil.

Dempsey vs. Walker was previously announced for this week’s show, but the announcers noted that Dempsey was not medically cleared to compete. Andre Chase vs. Drew Gulak happened instead, with Walker in Gulak’s corner. Dempsey was shown watching the match from backstage, and he was seen removing his arm sling to toss it to the floor. A riled up Gulak, who is now playing a bit of a heel role, was later interrupted by Dempsey backstage. Dempsey said injured or not, he will take it to Walker next week. Gulak promised that Walker will rip Dempsey’s arm off next week, but Walker seemed confused.
