New Video of Corey Graves Training In the Ring

WWE announcer Corey Graves trained in the ring with his brother, indie wrestler Sam Adonis, for the first time in 5 years this week.

Adonis took to Twitter and posted the following video of he and his brother in the ring, locking up and running the ropes before delivering a few more moves.

“Had a blast in the ring with my Trainer @WWEGraves for the first time in 5 years! Although, he did hit my with the STO that I stole from him! [laugh emojis] #YouStillGotIt #HardWorkPaysOff,” Adonis wrote.

As we’ve noted, Graves recently revealed that he was inspired to see about getting medically cleared while watching the WWE 24 special on WWE Hall of Famer Edge and his comeback.

“Watching it, honestly, man, it was inspiring,” Graves told Edge during their interview on WWE’s After The Bell podcast. “I would say at two or three different points I went, ‘Man, I live in Pittsburgh now. I should go find Dr. Maroon.’ It just gave me that urge to do this all over again, and I don’t know whether or not that’s a possibility, but the thought was planted in my brain for quite some time.”

Graves was forced to retire from the ring in 2014 due to concussion issues. He had worked the WWE NXT brand since being signed in 2011, but started working as an announcer after leaving the ring.

This new video has already started fueling rumors & speculation on Graves’ in-ring future, if there is one. You can see the full video below:
