WWE Network news issued the following press release announcing that a new Chronicle on former NXT women’s champion Shayna Baszler will be airing this coming Saturday May 9th, one day before the Money In The Bank pay per view. Details are below.
A few months ago we noted that a new episode of WWE Chronicle was on the way to WWE Network but no release date had been confirmed by WWE. This episode, set to focus on Shayna Baszler, was revealed prior to WWE Elimination Chamber 2020 and thus many expected it to premiere the Saturday before, or possibly during Wrestlemania 36 weekend however it never has.
Now we can exclusively reveal that WWE Chronicle: Shayna Baszler will be premiering on WWE Network this upcoming Saturday, May 9th. This is just one day prior to WWE Money In The Bank 2020 where Shayna will compete in her first MITB match. Of course, this isn’t the only original premiering that weekend, as we also revealed details on the upcoming limited series focused on The Undertaker earlier today.
