Overnight Ratings For Friday Night SmackDown Show Significant Drop In Viewership

According to Showbuzz Daily, last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown drew an average of 2.304 million viewers, a drop of nearly 4% from last week’s show. They finished 3rd in the prestigious 18-49 demographic with a rating of 0.6. There was also a drop of roughly 100,000 viewers from hour one to hour two, with the main event being new Universal champion Braun Strowman defending his title against Shinsuke Nakamura.

The program finished 8th overall in total viewership behind the normal Friday night lineup of Shark Tank, 20/20, MacGyver, Blue Bloods, The Blacklist, Dateline NBC, and Magnum P.I, which won the night at 7.213 million. This is also the lowest rated SmackDown since their move to the FOX network, not counting the time the show aired on FS1.

Full ratings will be out on Monday.
